Pomegranate

Fresh Pomegranate is one of the important fruit crops commercially grown in the state of Maharashtra. The main commercially grown varieties are Bhagwa, Arkata & Ganesh.

Pomegranate is a fruit formed by the combination of several unit-like fruitlets. It is a round berry and has a thick skin on the outside and a lot of inner seeds surrounded by a juicy pulp. Its colour ranges from dark red to yellowish green. Its taste is bittersweet. We supply fresh pomegranate on a year round basis through an inclusive network of our associate farmers.

Pomegranates are one of the most loved fruits globally. They are generally sweet in taste with a bit of an acidic nature. The global demand for pomegranates has seen a rise which has in turn increased the pomegranate export from India

BHAGWA

It is widelynown for its soft seed, dark red colour, and is extremely delicious.
